We work and play hard at school, so expect your child's uniforms to get dirty. For safety reasons we ask that you not allow your child to wear open backed shoes, shoes with high heels, shoes with cleats, flip-flops or cowboy boots. We ask that you not allow your child to wear black-soled tennis shoes to school due to the floor damage they cause. Scarves, bandanas, and hats should not be worn at school. Shorts are fine if they are not too short or too tight. Shorts must reach the fingertips when the child is standing upright. Umbrellas are considered a deadly weapon at this age! Please opt for raincoats with hoods or rain hats instead. NO elaborate jewelry is allowed. Please leave hats, combs, brushes, watches, sunglasses and purses at home. PLEASE LABEL YOUR CHILDREN'S CLOTHES THAT MAY BE LOST (sweaters, sweatshirts, coats, lunch boxes, etc.) Makeup is not to be worn at school.
School Board policy dictates that boys' hair may not exceed shoulder length, including rat tails.
Do not send to school toys, jewelry, or other expensive items that may be lost or damaged. Children are not allowed to bring cell phones to school.
